Holy crap I was looking at the picture and thinking “that looks a lot like Colonie Center” and it IS. Yes, this is near me, it’s the mall we go to most often, we live maybe 25 min away – I got one of my piercings at that Claire’s! And I’ve already played a whole mess of Pokemon there, though this display wasn’t up the times I’ve been there – last time was maybe two weeks ago??

(also…I don’t remember there being a gym at Colonie Center??? There are three Pokestops, one at the main entrance, one at P.F. Changs, and one at he Post Office…what am I missing?? Did they add a gym? DOES ANYONE KNOW?)

No gym has been placed there, but this is part of a month long event.

I’d actually heard about it in passing from a friend who lives near there (like walking distance) and gets their mailings, but then promptly forgot about it because I can’t do weekend things right now. I haven’t actually been there since the game came out, although I’ve knocked over the gym at Crossgates a couple of times when we’ve had to go to stores there. 🙂
