Okay, I decided to try and do some brief voices for my various PTU characters. They’re all kind of rough, especially the male ones, naturally. It’s all under the cut.

Archtypical PTU

• Nira-Her voice is a bit heavy, although not meant to be too harsh, until she gets angry. She’s also supposed to sound very confident about most things. I don’t quite like this, since it sounds way too much like my own voice.
• Aria-Her voice is soft and lilting, and tends to be as comforting as possible. I think I did okay with this one.
• Rori-Her voice is very low and her word choice deliberate. I think I could have made this deeper without making her sound too masculine, though.
• Wu Kong-His voice is meant to be deep and a little growly, but also quite enthusiastic. I really couldn’t manage how I wanted it to sound, but I think it gets his attitude across well.
• Hope-His voice is supposed to sound like a high-pitched guy trying to sound tough. I think it sounds okay, and less feminine than Wu Kong’s at least.
• Jewel-Her voice is supposed to be a bit murmury and unsure. It gets a bit clearer after she evolves into a Garbodor, and a little “sharp” as well. I think I really did well with this one.
• Mys-His voice is intended to be pretty monotone, with little inflection. I think the “monotone” part is okay, but I really couldn’t do that and a masculine voice at the same time.
• Oura-Her voice is supposed to sound somewhat “old”-ish? As well as the snake hissing, of course. I like what I did with this one a lot.
