I found this gorgeous animated short film, which was directed by Ishida YuYasushi. The stylization and charm reminds me of Studio Ghibli films or anything made by Mamoru Hosoda, the director of Summer Wars and The Girl who Leapt Through Time.

It’s entitled “Paulette’s Chair”, by the way.

So a fun story for you: I used to do social media for the American Dental Association, and if you want to see conspiracy theories google up ‘fluoride in the water supply’ some time. From time to time I’d follow these sites all the way down the rabbit hole, because well, you never know.

My very favorite discovery ever was on some anonymous message board somewhere, where someone claimed to have documents proving that while fluoride in the water was a government conspiracy, it was a nice one — that when we had enough fluoride in our bodies, it would burn the greys (aka the aliens) when they tried to touch us to abduct us. It was a quiet conspiracy to protect us all.

So! They exist!
