You’re right, liberal feminism does have the problem of excluding women, 

  • Women of color
  • Sex workers
  • Neuroatypical women
  • Poor Women
  • Muslim Women 
  • Lesbian, asexual, bisexual, pansexual, and other lgbqiap+ women. 
  • a ton of other oppressed women I’m not thinking of because I haven’t slept in like 2 days. 
  • oh and trans women.

Wow radical feminism must be so much better on those other issues to be dealing with such a minor “issue” as “men trying to invade feminist spaces by being trans” since even if this was a legitamite issue only about .3% of people are trans and that includes trans men. (x)

Ya the radfem community is free from those other actual problems 

like racism  (x) (Major heads up for racism) Brief synopsis the argument is that feminists shouldn’t be called out on racism because being called out on it is actually more harmful to women and dismantling the patriarchy than being racist is. Also in all 64 comments not one radfem disagrees with her. The comments also are some of the most racist shit I’ve heard people confess that weren’t actual white supremacists. Including this (tw for racism and police brutality) “I don’t feel bad for any of the black teens that were shot because they will just go on to be rapists and possibly father girls they abuse.“ Which no one even argues against or is at all in disagreement with. 

There is also a ton of problematic things the radfem community is guilty of besides their transphobic bullshit. Liberal feminism is not without it’s faults but radical feminism is rife with them.  

please dont use women’s public bathrooms, as a woman it makes me very uncomfortable to have someone with a dick using a place where im very vulnerable and if i saw you in a public bathroom id 100% be able to tell that you’re not a woman.

Do you have x-ray visions that you look to peep into stalls and check the genitalia of strangers or do you just confront every non-cis looking person, ugly person and/or masculine looking person and accuse them of having a penis and therefore not being women?

Are you fine with trans *men* using the *women’s* restroom because some of them don’t have penis?

What about the trans women who don’t have penis? They can have a go?

Also you’re wrong I am 100% a woman. Policing me for certain traits as not counting as womanly will blow-back on cis women, like that cis lesbian who was not allowed to use the woman’s restroom.

I dunno bout you but the idea that there are cis women out there obsessed with checking other women’s crotches if they don’t fit into heteronormative standards of femininity makes ME very uncomfortable. 

In my 20 + years of life I have yet to see a single news story about a cis woman being attacked by a trans woman in a womens room

You know what I have seen though?

I’ve seen plenty of stories about US getting attacked by bigots when we use a womens room

I’ve seen news stories about us being dragged out and beaten in public by bigots while people stood around and did jack shit to help

So yeah

I really couldn’t give a fuck about what paranoid bigots think or feel about trans women using womens bathrooms

WE’RE the ones in danger when we use them, not cis women

Someone with an IP address sourcing to the House of Representatives just edited the Orange Is the New Black Wikipedia page with the telling summary of “not a woman.”

That’s right, this Congressman edited out a sentence hailing the show for including “the first ever women-in-prison narrative to be played by a real transgender woman.”  What did he replace it with?  Hate speech.

The Congressman called Cox a “man pretending to be a woman,” and linked to an offensive article by National Review Online aptly titled “Laverne Cox Is Not a Woman.”

The change has since been reversed and the IP address has been banned from editing Wikipedia for a month, but you can see the original edit he made in the link above.

The change was spotted by a Twitter bot which tweets out links any time a Congressional IP address edits Wikipedia.

Spread this like wildfire.

i don’t know if everyone else knows about this or not, but i just went onto the twitterbot’s page and this is not just about laverne cox, someone from congress has been editing multiple articles concerning transgender people (mostly women) and laverne was probably the first trans celebrity they could think of, other edits have been made including:
