Another black person, Antonio Martin, was killed just hours ago, just two miles outside of Ferguson by a white cop. What we know so far is he was unarmed, he was at a gas station, the cop stopped him for “matching the description” of a suspect and then shot him for refusing to lie down on the ground.
Note that suspect descriptions are usually along the lines of “we’re looking for a black male between 18 and 42.”
he had a gun. Every article out there says he was in possession of a gun. Even tweets defending Antonio talk about what kind of gun, and serial number, Antonio had. He was armed.
When I made this post it had literally just happened. He was still lying on the ground dead and the only sources I saw all said he was unarmed.
Those have since been edited, pretty honest mistake to make. I’ve been asleep since and woke up to a dozen “HOW CAN U GET IT THAT RONG U LIAR” posts.
Doesn’t change the fact that even other armed (white) shooters are routinely brought in alive.
